There are 24 camping lots with electric and 4 tent lots. Most lots have easy access, flat with lots of shade, picnic tables and other amenities.

Fishing

Our fishing areas covers 71 acres with 5 miles of shoreline. Maximum depth is at 21 feet with the average water depth approximately 8.8 feet

Gillespie Lakes

The Gillespie Lakes are located 3 miles northwest of Gillespie, IL in Macoupin County. Here, you will find a family oriented lake complex consisting of two lakes, Old Gillespie lake and New Gillespie lake, which comprise our Gillespie Lakes. Gillespie Lakes has been a central location for fishing, boating and camping in the state of Illinois since 1953.
